My greatest passion is empowering people to live their best life. I love to be a catalyst, supporting and inspiring young people, retirees and everyone in between to move past limiting beliefs and create a life that is deeply satisfying, by their own standards.
People come to me for coaching for a variety of reasons, but always because they are seeking more. Young people want to quickly get on the life path they will find most satisfying. Others are in transition–or would like to be. People nearing retirement are wondering what’s next, and wanting to make it rich and meaningful. Together, we identify the unique elements each individual is seeking. Drawing on the client’s strengths, values, interests and dreams, we define goals, and create action steps to move each individual in the direction they want their life to go.
A life-long teacher and learner, I began seriously thinking about what was next in my life when my beloved spouse died after 22 years of marriage. The process of self-knowledge and growth that began at that time has resulted in many changes in my life. I’m now happily remarried, and I love my new career as a life coach and workshop facilitator. In 2013, I was thrilled to be in the first class offered to become a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator, leading classes and workshops based on the work of Dr. Brené Brown, author of New York Times bestseller Daring Greatly. I am a founder of WHEW, Women Helping and Empowering Women, and dedicate a portion of my coaching income to the local women’s shelter, where I volunteer.
