Upon request, I lead a variety of retreats, workshops and classes that are designed to help participants assess their lives and pinpoint the areas where they most want to make changes. Using various tools and activities, individuals discover their unique definition of success in life, and how to make it practical in their lives. I particularly love to work with people who are nearing retirement or have retired, but are eager to “rewire” to a new life that is a better fit for them. Many Baby Boomers are finding the traditional leisure view of retirement inadequate for the rich possibilities of 20 to 30 years of active, healthy living which people are now experiencing beyond “work-work.” I have successfully rewired to a new lifestyle I enjoy, and I have a passion for helping others find their path to fulfillment in the next stage of life.
The following is anonymous feedback from participants in one of my retirement workshops.
– Thanks, Sandi. This course was “tailor made” for me as I am “in transition.” Not quite at retirement, but wanting to slow down on the things I have to do and focus more on the things I want to do. This course was fun, followed a logical process, was informative and helpful. It made me realize that planning is important and that you need to “know yourself.” Many thanks. -D. B.
– I liked the flow of the workshop–timing was well paced. I liked the package of tools which were very helpful. Really makes you go below the surface. Discussion takes you deeper into the situation and makes you check into what is really meaningful to you. -L. F.
– I liked it all! I really liked the color Retirement Dimensions handout and the values sorting tool. Sandi—you are terrific. Lots of specific and helpful life examples, very sensitive to all participants, well-paced and enthusiastic. Thank you very much. -B. S.
– I was amazed at the insights I gained from the exercises. I would recommend that everyone take this workshop—especially if you are starting to think of retirement. I had a number of “aha” moments! Sandi G. you are terrific! Thanks! -R. W.
